You will be able to see on this web site where the nets bought with funds
raised have been distributed and by whom.
Why we are doing this
- Because malaria is the world’s single largest killer of children
- The equivalent of 7 jumbo jets full of children die every day from malaria. Today,
tomorrow, the next day... Put another way, the number of children that die each hour from malaria would fill 4 school buses.
- A mosquito net is the most effective form of prevention
- A net costs AU$6.5 (US$5)
- Every 20 nets installed equate to one life saved
