We are celebrating 100 years since girls first spoke out for their own rights at a rally of boy scouts in London. We are launching our celebration of 100 years of changing lives with a giant festival for all Guides and ex Guides in Australia. As well as fun and friendship, this festival is building on the advocacy skills demonstrated by those first girls, and helping today's guides to increase their knowledge of the UN Millenium Development Goals. As part of this we are thrilled to join in this project and help our girls to understand that each of them can make a difference through helping to fund mosquito nets. We trust many of them will carry on this worthwhile activity when they return to their own communities, and enlist even more support.
