Girl Guides and Girl Scouts worldwide say “together we can change our world.” The theme encourages girls and young women to make a personal commitment to change the world around them and affirms our commitment to the UN Millennium Development Goals. Our Thinking Day theme for 2009 is girls worldwide say “stop the spread of AIDS, malaria and other diseases”, so we are raising money to buy long-lasting insecticide treated nets to save the world from malaria one net at a time.
